I'm Eilíse, a dual-qualified nurse and midwife, and IBCLC. I am based in Ixelles and support families across Brussels through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

I qualified as a nurse from Dublin City University in 2019. In 2022 I completed a Higher Diploma in Midwifery at Trinity College Dublin and went on to work as a midwife on the labour and delivery ward at the Rotunda Hospital Dublin, one of Europe's busiest maternity hospitals.

A lot of my work is about helping parents feel calm, informed, and confident, so they feel prepared. That same approach carries through to the postnatal period, when so many new questions arise, especially around infant feeding.

I'm also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), the leading international qualification in breastfeeding and lactation support. This means I can offer specialist, evidence-based help with everything from latch and positioning to supply concerns, pain, and feeding challenges.

I am INAMI registered and can provide attestations for reimbursement for all of my services, so you can claim back through your mutualité or insurance.

For the past three years, I've been caring for families across Brussels, at home, at my breastfeeding clinic, and through classes and workshops. It's a privilege to be part of so many families' journeys, and I'd love to support yours.
